..so, here I am in Brugge!! A city famous for its abundancy of culture and beauty, characterized by its many channels which locals make use of by guiding tourists around in boats. I've been here for 9 days now and I really have to say - I feel very comfortable in my new environment!! What I've seen so far is nothing but beautiful and I'm still amazed by the fact that it takes 1h to Brussel, Antwerp, the French and Dutch border and even less to the ocean and Gent..3h to Paris!!! I really should take advantage of that.. :)

Of course there are times when you just think of your beloved family and friends left behind at home and you miss them a lot..but I think that's rather normal and as I am not THAT far away from my German home (about 550km), I still got the opportunity to go there every now and then.

My time here consisted not only of hard hard work (if I can really call it like that :), but also of a lot of fun. My flat made Sidney (who sadly is gonna be finished soon) not only explains me everything I will need in future EVS times, but also takes me with him to every event he goes to. Thanks, Sid!! So we went to several bars here in Bruges, one day to Brussel and last weekend to the Gentse Feesten, sort of a festival in Gent. Regarding my work at InsideOut, I mainly was introduced to the activities the organisation is working on, just getting and overview how work here looks like..slowly, they give me more and more responsibility of things, so I get used to it in a very relaxed way.

Apropos work..I really should start now!! So that's it for now - tot straks and salutjes!!
